Information on the Battery Ordinance
According to article 1, §18 and article 2 of the law for the reorganization of the waste-legal product responsibility for batteries and accumulators from June 25, 2009

Dear customer

some of our devices contain batteries or accumulators.

Please do not recharge these five systems.

an alkaline-manganese battery
a zinc-carbon battery
a zinc-air battery
one (once dischargeable) lithium battery
a silver oxide battery

These four systems are rechargeable

a nickel-cadmium battery
a nickel-metal hydride battery
a (rechargeable) lithium battery
a lead battery
If the batteries are "empty" or cannot be recharged, do not put them in the household waste. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can harm the environment and health. Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries to the retailer or to the recycling centers of the municipalities. The return is free of charge and required by law. Please throw only discharged batteries into the provided containers and tape the poles of lithium batteries.

All batteries and rechargeable batteries are recycled. In this way, valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc or nickel can be recovered. Battery recycling is the easiest environmental protection exercise in the world.

Please dispose of used batteries, as required by law ( disposal in household waste is expressly prohibited by the Battery Ordinance! ), at a municipal collection point, or hand them in at your local retailer free of charge.

Batteries received from us can be returned to us free of charge after use at the address below or sent back to us by post with sufficient postage.
